Have you heard of this term lately— “revenge travel?” It seems to be one of 2023’s top travel buzzwords, used by influencers and new outlets alike. But what does revenge travel actually mean and what do you need to know about travel going forward, especially as we prepare for the busy summer months?

In short, this term is how insiders are defining the massive and continuous surge in travel. Let’s be honest, COVID-19 really shook things up, the travel industry included. There were so many tight restrictions and even complete bans during this time that travel seemed like a mere pipe dream. Airlines, travel vendors, tour groups, etc are working overtime to account for the massive uptick in travel demands. Wait and turnaround times are longer than years prior. There’s more red tape to go through to get things accomplished and confirmed by these vendors. So overall, pack your patiences in the travel planning process.
